Hans E. Dineson, Sr. president and directing head of Electric Heater Company. By 1920 Hans had invented an electric water heater that was the answer to a large demand for such a device.
Harvey Hubbell Jr. expresses interest in the company and takes over the manufacturing of electric water heaters and incorporates, The Electric Heater Company in 1927.
Hans E. Dineson remained with Hubbell and raises the means to take over the water heater company keeping the established "Hubbell" and naming the company, The Electric Heater Company.
The company does its part to support the war efforts meeting the governments demand for components and water heating products for the special applications needed by the US Navy, including marine specific water heaters and heating elements that we continue to develop, engineer, and manufacture to today's strict standards and specifications.

The complete project consists of 426 individual PV Solar modules capable of generating over 91,000 kilowatt hours annually, resulting in the company generating over 40% of its own power from the sun and reducing Hubbell's carbon footprint by eliminating 71 tons of CO₂ annually.

Together with Corporate Construction Inc. and H & R Design Inc. the company successfully achieved its vision of combining fresh contemporary styling with renewable resources maintaining the authentic industrial characteristics of its landmark building. The renovation of the 9,000 square-foot space provides a modern office environment and includes an indoor cafe, state-of-the-art conference and recreation room and an employee fitness center.
