Certifications

Hubbell Certification Policy

Hubbell Electric Heater Co.'s formal company policy regarding product certifications.

No individual or organization is permitted to add, reference, apply, or associate any certification, mark, approval, or compliance designation to any of our products without obtaining prior written authorization from Hubbell Electric Heater Co.

This includes, but is not limited to, regulatory certifications, industry approvals, quality marks, third-party endorsements, or any similar designation. Unauthorized use or representation of certifications in connection with our products may result in corrective action and could expose the party responsible to legal liability.

If you believe a certification is required for a specific application or market, please contact Hubbell Quality Control directly so we can review the request and provide formal written approval where appropriate.

ABS Type Approval:

Hubbell Marine products are available with ABS Type Approval. With rigorous testing and evaluation, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) ensures each product meets specific requirements for use in marine and offshore applications.

ASME certified:

Certain Hubbell products are available to meet the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), where specified. These requirements govern the design, construction, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels for safety and reliability.

AWS Certified:

All Hubbell welders have undergone testing by the American Welding Society for proficiency in specific welding processes and techniques. This certification validates their skills according to AWS standards.

Buy American Act:

Select Hubbell products are assembled in the USA. For more information on BABA/BAA compliance, please contact sales.

CRN:

CRN certification is available for Hubbell products upon request. This indicates that the product, such as a pressure vessel or boiler, has been approved and registered for use in Canada, according to Canadian regulatory safety standards.

Energy Star:

Applicable Hubbell products are ENERGY STAR® certified. ENERGY STAR is a government-backed program that certifies energy-efficient products. It sets strict efficiency standards to ensure products perform well while using less energy.

Intertek ETL Listed:

Select Hubbell products are ETL listed. Our products have undergone rigorous testing by Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL) to meet North American safety standards.

ISO 9001:2015:

Hubbell products are manufactured in ISO 9001:2015 facilities, where applicable. ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems, emphasizing consistent quality and customer satisfaction.

NR-13:

Hubbell products can meet NR-13 requirements upon request. NR-13 is the Brazilian standard for boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems. It outlines safety requirements and procedures for the installation, operation, and maintenance of this equipment.

UL Listed:
