Certifications

ABS Type Approval:
Hubbell Marine products have ABS Type Approval. With rigorous testing and evaluation, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) ensures each product meets specific requirements for use in marine and offshore applications.
AHRI Certified:
Applicable Hubbell products are AHRI Certified. The AHRI (Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) certification indicates that a product has been tested and verified to meet efficiency and reliability standards.
ASME certified:
Applicable Hubbell products meet ASME BPVC standards, which govern the design, construction, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels for safety and reliability. Designator codes include NB, R, S, M, H, HLW, U, UM.
AWS Certified:
All Hubbell welders have undergone testing by the American Welding Society for proficiency in specific welding processes and techniques. This certification validates their skills according to AWS standards.
Buy American Act:
All Hubbell products meet the requirements of the Buy American Act.
CRN:
Applicable Hubbell products are CRN certified. This indicates that the product, such as a pressure vessel or boiler, has been approved and registered for use in Canada, according to Canadian regulatory safety standards.
Energy Star:
Applicable Hubbell products are Energy Star rated. Energy Star is a government-backed program that certifies energy-efficient products. It sets strict efficiency standards to ensure products perform well while using less energy.
Intertek ETL Listed:
Hubbell is an ETL listed manufacturer. Our products have undergone rigorous testing by Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL) to meet North American safety standards.
ISO 2015:
Hubbell is an ISO 2015 registered manufacturer. The ISO 2015 certification is a globally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems, emphasizing consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
MIL-H-965:
Applicable Hubbell products meet the MIL-H-965 military specification. This certifies that our products meet stringent standards for durability, safety, and performance in demanding environments.
NR-13:
Applicable Hubbell products meet NR-13 requirements. NR-13 is the Brazilian standard for boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems. It outlines safety requirements and procedures for the installation, operation, and maintenance of this equipment.
NSF/ANSI 5:
Hubbell is an NSF/ANSI 5 certified manufacturer. This standard stipulates criteria for material safety, design, construction, and performance of commercial water heaters, hot water supply boilers, and heat recovery equipment.
(Pb) Lead Free Certified:
All Hubbell products meet Lead Free regulatory requirements.
UL Listed:
Hubbell products have been tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories, a leading safety certification organization.
Ultra Low NOx certified:
Applicable Hubbell products are Ultra Low NOx Certified. Ultra Low NOx designates that water heaters meet stringent emissions standards for nitrogen oxides (NOx), significantly reducing their environmental impact.
